Family Christmas pictures 2008

So after several weeks of talking about scheduling professional family pictures for our Christmas cards, we finally ran out of time and took some ourselves. We, however, have also run out of time for the christmas cards, so they will be coming late this year. I also forgot how hard it is to take a picture of a (almost) 2 year old. We caught a few good ones though.

With the end of the year coming, and Kate's 2nd birthday, it makes me realize how quickly time is flying by and how I wish I had more of it to spend soaking up more experiences with my girls. I can't wait to see the women they will grow up to be, but I am sad to know that some day (sooner than I want it to be) they'll be moving out. But it helps me realize how truelly blessed our family and our lives are to be able to have this time together.

Here's our story in a nut Shell

Once upon a time there was a girl named Jennifer who lived in a small town in Idaho. When Jenn was 19 years old she met a boy named Toby, from an even smaller town in Idaho, and they fell in love.

Following the natural course of things, Jenn and Toby were married. 2 years later they were blessed with their first daughter Brooklyn.
Brook brought much joy to the Shell household with her spunky manner and eagerness to learn. The Shell family seemed perfect, but something seemed missing. So one day
God blessed them with another daughter, Katelyn. Kate, with her contagious laughter and cuddly manner has completed this happy family of 4.
